Create your KICK account and set up your stream channel from scratch

1. Registration & Security

Sign Up

Visit KICK.com and click Sign Up.

  1. 1Go to kick.com in your browser
  2. 2Click the Sign Up button (top-right)
  3. 3Choose Google OAuth (faster) or Email / Password

Email Verification

Confirm your email before continuing.

  1. 1Check your Inbox for an email from KICK
  2. 2If not found, check Spam / Junk
  3. 3Click the verification link or enter the OTP code

Enable 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication)

Secure your account — required to unlock monetization.

  1. 1Go to Creator Dashboard → Settings → Security
  2. 2Find the Two-Factor Authentication section
  3. 3Click Enable to start the setup

Set Up Authenticator App

Install an authenticator app on your phone to generate codes.

  1. 1Download Google Authenticator or Authy from the App Store / Play Store
  2. 2Open the app — you will use it to scan a QR Code in the next step

Scan QR Code & Verify

Link KICK to your authenticator app and confirm it works.

  1. 1Open your authenticator app and tap Add account / Scan QR
  2. 2Scan the QR Code shown on KICK's Security page
  3. 3Enter the 6-digit code from the app to confirm

2FA is mandatory on KICK to unlock Monetization tools and receive payouts. Enable it before your first stream.

2. Profile & Visual Identity

Profile Picture (Avatar)

Set a recognizable profile photo.

  1. 1Go to Creator Dashboard → Settings → Profile
  2. 2Click your current avatar to open the upload dialog
  3. 3Upload a 128×128 px image (PNG or JPG recommended)

Channel Banner

Add a banner that represents your brand.

  1. 1Click the banner area at the top of your profile settings
  2. 2Upload an image at 1920×1080 px for best results
  3. 3PNG or JPG both work — keep file size under 5 MB
A 1920×1080 banner gives the best result across all screen sizes

Bio

Write a short description of your channel.

  1. 1What content you stream (games, IRL, music, etc.)
  2. 2Your streaming schedule
  3. 3Your Discord link or community CTA
A clear bio helps new viewers decide to follow

Social Links

Connect your other platforms so viewers can follow you everywhere.

  1. 1Scroll to the Social Links section in Profile settings
  2. 2Add Facebook, Discord, TikTok, YouTube, or X (Twitter)
  3. 3Click Save — links appear on your channel page

Set your channel Language to Thai and choose your main streaming Category so Thai viewers can discover you more easily in search and browse.

3. Stream Key & Server URL

Open Creator Dashboard

Access the streaming settings area.

  1. 1Click your profile icon (top-right) and select Creator Dashboard
  2. 2Or go to kick.com/dashboard directly

Find Your Stream Key

Copy both the Server URL and Stream Key — you need both for OBS.

  1. 1Navigate to Settings → Stream Key (or Channel → Stream URL & Key)
  2. 2Copy Stream URL (RTMP): rtmps://fa723fc1b171.global-contribute.live-video.net:443/app
  3. 3Click Show next to Stream Key, then copy it (requires 2FA)

⚠️

Never show your Stream Key on screen during a stream. If it gets leaked, click Reset Key immediately to generate a new one.

Add to OBS Studio

Paste both values into OBS to connect your stream to KICK.

  1. 1Open OBS Studio → Settings → Stream
  2. 2Set Service to Custom
  3. 3Paste the Stream URL into the Server field
  4. 4Paste your Stream Key into the Stream Key field
  5. 5Click Apply → OK to save

4. Monetization & KICK Affiliate

Unlock Stripe payout by meeting both requirements:

Keep 95% of every Sub ($4.75 per $5). KICK covers Stripe's 1.5% FX fee — no deductions for Thai streamers.

Claim Affiliate

Officially activate your Affiliate status on KICK.

  1. 1Go to Creator Dashboard → Achievements
  2. 2Find the Affiliate badge and click Claim

Set Up Payout

Access the Stripe payout configuration.

  1. 1Navigate to Creator Dashboard → Monetization / Payout
  2. 2Click Set Up Payout to start the Stripe Connect flow

KYC Verification

Verify your identity so Stripe can process payments.

  1. 1Prepare your Thai ID card or Passport
  2. 2Upload front and back photos as prompted by Stripe
  3. 3Wait for verification — usually completed within 1–2 business days

Link Thai Bank Account

Connect your bank to receive THB payouts directly.

  1. 1Enter your Thai bank account number and bank name
  2. 2Confirm account details — payouts arrive in THB
  3. 3Payout cycle is approximately 7 business days after each payment period

Q

What documents are needed for Thai streamer payouts?

A

A Thai Government ID or Passport for Stripe KYC, plus a Thai bank account to receive THB payouts.

Q

Can I stream without 2FA?

A

Yes — but 2FA is required to access Monetization settings and receive any income from subs or donations.
