Full KickBot function guide: Custom Commands, Timers, AI TTS, !clip, Link Protection, Gimmicks and Chat Overlay
!discordJoin our Discord: https://discord.gg/yourlink10s — prevents the same viewer from spamming the command.Create as many commands as you need: !specs for your PC build, !social for your social links, !schedule for your stream days. Each can have its own cooldown.
FacebookPromote15m — KickBot posts the message every 15 minutes.5 — only posts if at least 5 chat lines occurred, preventing dead-chat spam.Follow our Facebook page: https://facebook.com/yourpageSet the Lines threshold to match your average chat activity. If your chat typically gets 10+ messages per minute, use Lines: 10 to ensure the timer only fires during active sessions.
Thai streamers: KickBot's TTS includes Thai language voices. Try a few to find one that sounds natural — some AI voices handle Thai pronunciation better than others.
!clip in your chat.Let your viewers use !clip too — when the chat types it during a great moment, you get the clip automatically without having to notice it yourself.
KickBot's Link Protection is basic — it blocks all links from all viewers equally. If you need subscriber-exempt link protection (Subs can post links freely), use BotRix's Link Protection instead. See Ch11 §11.3 — BotRix Link Protection.
!roll@$(user) rolled today's luck: $(random.1-100) pts! 🎲30s — prevents spam.!rps@$(user) played: $(random.Rock,Paper,Scissors) ✂️🔨📄10s.KickBot uses $(random.1-100) for random numbers. BotRix uses $(rand.1-100) — note the difference if you run both bots simultaneously.
Position the chat overlay on the left or right edge of your stream layout. Set Scenes visibility so the overlay only shows during gameplay, not during BRB or Starting Soon screens.
KickBot isn't responding to commands — what's wrong?
First check that KickBot has Moderator status at dashboard.kick.com/community/moderators. Without it, KickBot cannot send any messages in chat.
Can I set different cooldowns for different viewers?
Yes — KickBot supports both User Cooldown (per viewer) and Global Cooldown (all viewers share). Set the global cooldown lower for popular commands like !discord, and user cooldown lower for gimmicks like !roll.
